Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known by the name Paul Wesley, is an award-winning actor producer and director famous for his work in the well-known television drama show The Vampire Diaries. His work on the series has garnered him several nods, awards, and praises. The most notable of these are those of the Teen Choice Awards and the "Young Hollywood Awards". Wesley, who was born in New Brunswick New Jersey and raised to America, United States, showed interest in acting during his elementary primary school days. He then enrolled in Rutgers University. He dropped out after recognizing the potential of his acting. He had his first TV appearance on the American TV soap opera Another World. He was the main character in Wolf Lake, a CBS television series two years after.
